Karat Sanitary ware PCL was established in 1983, the Company's principal activity being the manufacturing and distribution of water-saving sanitaryware products & accessories with production facilities in Thailand. KARAT's main products are bathroom fixtures -- toilet, lavatory, urinal, bidet and bathing. The brand is well known throughout the region for its superior quality.

In 1996 and 2000, Karat became the first Thai sanitaryware manufacturer to be accredited with ISO 9002 certificate and acknowledged by IAPMO Research and Testing, Inc. USA respectively. Apart from offering a wide range of products that meet different consumer needs, Karat is also the pioneer of 3.75 liters water-saving toilets.

In 2002, Karat became part of The Kohler Family of Businesses, long recognized as global leader in kitchen and bath designs. With Kohler's worldwide reputation, the company has then changed the name to Kohler (Thailand) Public Co., Ltd.

Today, Kohler (Thailand) has production facilities in Kang Khoi district, Saraburi with multiple world-class vitreous china factories, making the company the largest sanitaryware manufacturer in Asia with the highest production capacity. Kohler (Thailand) offers high quality products under three brands: KOHLER, KARAT and ENGLEFIELD.
